The New School for Sewing Classes February 2013
Here is the new school for the JHF sewing classes. The school also houses five girls.
The JHF team in Katmandu found the rental building after many months of searching for the perfect space. JHF needed a place in a safe neighborhood that would offer an uplifting environment for the girls. We needed enough room for living areas and for classroom space. As soon as the team found it, they knew it was the perfect place. It would offer a dorm room for five, a shared bathroom, one common area with a small kitchen and one large classroom.
In February 2013, Mani Gurung, head of the Nepal JHF team, signed the contract that would establish Journey Home Foundation’s first school and boarding home for Nepali women and girls.
